Wright Patt Credit Union CD Rates


Credit unions are member-owned, operated not-for-profit but for common benefit of its members. Unlike banks the earnings are returned to members in the form of higher dividend rates on deposits, lower interest rates on loans and lower fees. One of the earliest credit unions Wright Patt Credit Union chartered on June 10, 1932, operating with a mission of helping its members achieve a greater degree of economic independence. Today it serves more than 150,000 members in six counties with $1 billion in assets. It is offering Share Certificates, Balance Builder Certificates and IRA Share Certificates. The dividend rates on Share Certificates are explained below:

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 6 to 11 months would have a dividend rate of 4.31% having 4.40% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.41% having 4.50% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 12 to 17 months would have a dividend rate of 4.51% having 4.60% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.60% having 4.70% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 18 to 23 months would have a dividend rate of 4.60% having 4.70% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.70% having 4.80% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 24 to 35 months would have a dividend rate of 4.70% having 4.80% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.79% having 4.90% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 36 to 47 months would have a dividend rate of 4.79% having 4.90% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.89% having 5.00% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 48 to 59 months would have a dividend rate of 4.89% having 5.00% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 4.60% having 4.70% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 60 to 71 months would have a dividend rate of 4.98% having 5.10% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 5.08% having 5.20% APY.

With a minimum balance of $500 deposited for 72 months would have a dividend rate of 5.08% having 5.20% APY. If you deposit 100,000 for the same period you get a dividend rate of 5.18% having 5.30% APY.

Balance Builder Certificate is flexible which has a minimum deposit of $0 and gives you a dividend rate of 3.64% with 3.70% APY.

The Single Deposit IRA Share Certificate would have a dividend rate of 4.31% with 4.40% APY with $500 locked in for a period of 6 to 11 months. Similarly $100,000 locked in for same period has a dividend rate of 4.41% with 4.50% APY. $500 locked in for a period of 72 months has a dividend rate of 5.08% with 5.20% APY and $100,000 locked in for same period has a dividend rate of 5.18% with 5.30% APY.
